The British Cattle Breeders Club ran its first ever virtual event in January 2021 which was a resounding success, and with there still being uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, the committee have made the decision to run the conference as a virtual event once again for 2022.
The virtual conference will be held on Tuesday 25th January 2022. The current BCBC Chair Dr Karen Wonnacott has chosen the theme 'A Breath of Fresh Air' which seeks to draw a line under recent challenging times and provide captivating, innovative and technical presentations from home and abroad to further advance cattle breeding and genetics. We hope to showcase novel technologies and demonstrate their practical applications as well as building resilience and investigating the positive contribution agriculture can make to tackling climate change. We strongly believe that this is a great time to be in our industry and we have so many opportunities yet to explore. The conference will run as a one day virtual event with both beef and dairy presentations throughout the day, with all presentations available after the event 'on demand' to all registered delegates and members.
