Doing Business in Asia Pacific and Latin America Region

The Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to invite you to the event that showcases Agri-Tech opportunities in Asia Pacific (Indonesia, New Zealand, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam) and Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay).
The event will bring together UK Agri-Tech businesses (exporters), representatives from foreign embassies, trade challenge partners, international trade advisers, DIT Agri-Tech sector, trade policy and export finance teams.
Asia Pacific is home to over 1.16 billion people, with UK exports amounting to £56.9 billion in 2019; an increase of 0.5%, compared to previous year.
Latin America and the Caribbean (LatAC), is home to over 650 million people, with total UK’s exports of £17.4 billion in 2019; an increase of 3.3%, compared to previous year.
Who should attend?
Agri-Tech businesses, entrepreneurs or organisations interested in expanding exports in Asia Pacific and/ or Latin America to learn about:
Agriculture and key production systems in the regions;
Specific market opportunities and events for Agri-Tech in the regions;
Doing business in individual markets; and
Support and guidance available from DIT and Trade Associations.
