UK Dairy Day

Visit the 6th UK Dairy Day at the International Centre, Telford.  Free to attend the event features over 300 exhibitors, cattle show, seminars, practical demonstrations, breed village, calf rearing and innovation show. The International Centre, Telford, Shrophire, UK, TF3 4JH.

UK Dairy Day 2019 will host the National Ayrshire Show judged by Gilmour Lawrie, National Brown Swiss Show judged by Robbie Radel and National Holstein Show judged by Patrick Rüttimann along with classes for Dairy Shorthorn, Guernsey and Jersey.   A fantastic entry of cattle will compete in the show ring for a shared of the £25,000 prize fund.

The event at the International Centre on Wednesday 11th September is an opportunity for anyone connected to the dairy industry to network, share knowledge, learn, and most importantly make business decisions.Over 300 exhibitors will be located across internal and external exhibition areas representing UK, European & International businesses. A leading line up of seminar presentations start at 10am on the first floor which features the Sharing Knowledge Zone with careers board and table top displays promoting industry initiatives, training providers and charities.

Practical demonstrations include the foot trimming and knife sharpening, ‘Beneath the Black and White’ calf painting, Type Classification and Linear Scoring and new for 2019 a Genomic Clinic. Also a must visit is the Calf Rearing Zone, Innovation Zone and New Product Zone.
